Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Synergy is building its long-term development strategy not only on the basis of commercial interests, but also on the principles of social responsibility and ethical standards of doing business. Always bearing in mind the balance between business and the public interests, the Company seeks to make a significant contribution to the development of the Russian economy and the prosperity of the country’s population.
For example, in 2011 the total volume of tax payments amounted to more than 14 billion rubles. Synergy’s Management is convinced that the achievement of excellent results is a reflection of management efficiency and the level of confidence that consumers and partners have in the company. Trust, in its turn is based on the fair treatment and respect for all the parties, including shareholders, customers, business partners and employees. We are building relationships with these groups and forming our corporate reputation — one of our main non-financial assets, which is especially important for a Company operating in the consumer sector of the market.
Our corporate social responsibility policy is based on the following four priority areas:
- Socially responsible marketing and promoting a culture of responsible alcohol consumption.
- Socially responsible human resources policy based on mutual respect, fair compensation and providing professional growth opportunities for our employees.
- Respect for the environment and concern for the preservation of natural resources.
- Social and cultural initiatives that promote the harmonious development of society.
